Chef on the Go - Meet the Chefs

The owners of Chef on the Go, Inc. include Mary Churillo and Patti Horton. Read about their extensive experience below.

Mary Churillo

Mary was born and raised on the east coast of South Florida. She has a Caribbean flare with her cooking and it definitely shows. Once completing her Registered Nursing degree in 1988, she moved to this area to practice nursing. With an extensive background in nutritional instruction, she left the profession and started Chef on the Go, Inc. in 1998. They say “the nurse in you never leaves”. This is evident in her personal chef career. She instructs clients on physician prescribed diets, as well as new lifestyle eating habits. With her love of cooking and people, this profession was a natural for her.

Patti Horton

Recognized in the local press as the 2005 People’s Choice for her spectacular gumbo, Patti comes by her skill honestly, having spend her life in the restaurant business. Working with “Chef on the Go” since 2000, she has now honed her skills catering to the restricted diet of many of her regular clients. But, you should taste her Gumbo!
